Designed as the final protective layer within the Hydrolux coating system, it delivers excellent UV resistance, outstanding colour stability, and a durable non-yellowing finish that helps maintain the appearance of exterior timber for years to come. Available in a wide range of opaque colours, including bespoke colour matching, it is suitable for softwood, hardwood, Accoya®, Tricoya®, and other commonly used timber species.

Application & Drying

Apply to clean, dry, and properly prepared primed timber surfaces using suitable spray equipment. Hydrolux Topcoat THIX Colour is designed as the final decorative and protective finish within the Hydrolux coating system and can be applied in one or two coats depending on the coating specification. Suitable for AAA and airless spray application, with force drying available to improve production efficiency. Follow the technical data sheet for the recommended film builds, drying schedules, and application guidance.
