The Hydrolux V-Joint sealer is a waterborne acrylic dispersion based sealant based on Tri-cryl® technology, containing no harmful solvents. It is low in odour, UV-resistant, and easy to paint. It can be applied on bare timber as well as inbetween coats with products based on acrylic resins. It should not be used as an adhesive or glazing sealant.
After the evaporation of water it stays plastic permanently. Once cured it is resistant to changing weather conditions and is highly suitable for outdoor use. The product has a paste-like consistency and is supplied in a squeezable bottle. It is predominantly designed for use in V-joints, but it can also be used to fill other small gaps in joints on timber windows and doors.
