The names of the colours are derived and inspired by distinctive towns and cities from across the Netherlands and the history of Anker Stuy Coatings.
The samples are built with a wood coating system of three layers. Dimensionally stable joinery such as windows and doors will have a natural appearance and a long lifetime with as limited maintenance as possible.
1st coat: 16-0201 Ankolux Aqua Impregnating Woodstain
This water-borne translucent impregnating, non-film-forming woodstain offers very good penetration into the wood, high resistance to UV light, does not flake off and therefore adheres very well.
2nd/3rd coats: 16-0221 Ankolux Aqua Woodcoat TP
This water-based transparent film-forming woodcoat is for exterior use. It offers easy application, good drying and inter-coat adhesion with 1st coat 16-0201, transparent colour and moisture regulating, and very good outdoor durability.
