25-0883 Brushing Additive

25-0883 Brushing Additive is a professional performance additive developed to convert water-based spray coatings into brush or roller-applied systems. Designed to improve flow, open time, and brushability, this additive provides greater on-site flexibility and enhances finish quality where spray application is not practical.

Compatible with Ankolux, Hydrolux, and Ankocryl systems, it ensures smoother application and improved levelling for professional results.

Application

Add 5% 25-0883 Brushing Additive to the coating. Higher additions are only recommended under warm application conditions, as increased quantities will prolong drying times and reduce vertical hold.

Stir thoroughly for at least 10 minutes using a mixing stick. For volumes of 4 litres or more, mechanical stirring is recommended. Allow the mixture to rest for a minimum of 30 minutes before application.

Apply using a soft, long-bristle synthetic brush or roller suitable for water-based paints. Avoid spreading the coating too thin. On vertical surfaces, do not exceed 150 μm wet film thickness to minimise sagging. Ensure external edges have a radius of at least 3 mm to promote optimal flow and adhesion. Decorative areas may require multiple thinner coats to achieve the best finish.

Processing Conditions:
Object and ambient temperature between 15°C and 30°C
Relative humidity between 25% and 75%

Please note: the addition of Brushing Additive will extend drying times.
